Frequently asked
How does NYC airport car service pricing work?
Fares are flat and all-in: an airport flat fare or a per-mile point-to-point rate, or an hourly block for as-directed trips. Every quote includes gratuity, tolls and the $1.50 for-hire congestion surcharge, rounded to the nearest $10. There is no surge and no meter.
Do black cars pay the $9 congestion charge?
No. The $9 charge is for privately driven passenger cars. A chauffeured black car is a for-hire vehicle and pays a flat $1.50 per-trip congestion surcharge into Manhattan below 60th Street, which is folded into your flat fare.
What is the hourly minimum?
Three hours within the five boroughs and four once the trip crosses into New Jersey, Connecticut, Westchester or Long Island. Overtime is billed in 30-minute increments at the same hourly rate.
